We are seeking a talented and dedicated Video Editor with a strong understanding of short-form content creation and the principles of retention on social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing videos in various formats, applying effects such as rotoscoping and motion graphics, and ensuring high-quality visual and audio output. This role requires someone who is available to work 8-10 hours a day and is committed to long-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Edit and produce high-quality short-form content from long-form videos, including the application of b-rolls, stickers, and effects as necessary.
• - Identify and select the most relevant and engaging clips from extensive video footage.
• - Apply basic graphic design skills to create visually appealing thumbnails when required.
• - Perform basic color correction and color grading to enhance the visual quality of the videos.
• - Ensure that videos are optimized for retention on social media platforms by implementing best practices in editing.
• - Communicate effectively in English and understand American and British accents for accurate content editing and feedback integration.
• - Handle large video files and work efficiently on a computer system capable of managing significant file sizes.
• - Be receptive to feedback and open to making necessary revisions to meet content expectations.

Qualifications:

• - Proven experience in video editing with a portfolio showcasing expertise in short-form content.
• - Proficient in the use of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and effects such as rotoscoping and motion graphics.
• - Basic knowledge of graphic design for thumbnail creation.
• - Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to create content that maximizes viewer retention.
• - Excellent English communication skills with the ability to understand and work with American and British accents.
• - A reliable computer system capable of handling large file sizes without compromising on performance.
• - Willingness to work full-time (8-10 hours a day) and availability for long-term employment.

• - Must be available to work remotely with flexible working hours.
