Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Bill Entry & Documentation

  • Enter purchase bills, GRNs, wholesale dispatch invoices, and stock transfer documents into the system.
  • Verify quantity, quality, rates, and terms against purchase orders and delivery challans.
  • Maintain proper documentation for manufacturing, wholesale, and retail transactions.
  • Coordinate with Accounts for bill verification, posting, and reconciliation.

2. Stock Tracking & Distribution

  • Track all inward and outward stock movement from store to wholesale and retail outlets.
  • Manage stock issued to wholesale customers and retail outlets, including returns and exchanges.
  • Prepare delivery challans, wholesale dispatch notes, and inter-branch transfer records.
  • Conduct regular stock reconciliation between physical stock and system balances.

3. Rack / Bin Planning & Store Organization

  • Plan rack and bin allocation based on product category, size, color, season, and turnover.
  • Ensure proper labeling and easy traceability of stock meant for wholesale and retail.
  • Maintain store discipline, safety standards, and damage prevention practices.
  • Optimize storage layout for fast-moving wholesale items.

4. Moving & Non-Moving Stock Analysis

  • Prepare Moving, Slow-Moving, and Non-Moving Stock Reports for manufacturing, wholesale, and retail.
  • Identify excess or aging inventory and report to management.
  • Support stock liquidation, redistribution, or discount planning for wholesale and retail channels.

5. Seasonal Stock Planning

  • Assist in seasonal stock planning for wholesale and retail demand.
  • Monitor stock levels during peak seasons to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and wholesale teams for demand-based stock allocation.
  • Support timely clearance of end-of-season stock.

6. Wholesale Coordination & Controls

  • Ensure timely availability of stock for wholesale orders and bulk dispatches.
  • Track wholesale order fulfillment status and pending deliveries.
  • Maintain proper records of wholesale customer-wise stock movement.
  • Support audit and management reviews related to wholesale inventory.
Job Specification

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong inventory and warehouse management knowledge
  • Understanding of wholesale, retail, and manufacturing stock flow
  • Basic accounting and invoice handling skills
  • ERP / inventory software proficiency (preferred)
  • Reporting and data accuracy skills
  • Good coordination and communication abilities

Qualification

  • Minimum: +2 (Intermediate)
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Management preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience as Store Keeper / Inventory Executive
  • Prior experience in textile, garment, fashion, wholesale, or retail industry is highly preferred
