• Analyze and clarify requirements with a customer or a business analyst and provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Develop, document and maintain manual/automated test scripts, test cases, defect tracking and reports
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Maintain the test documentation and sign off documents
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
• Communicating with Quality Control about existing defects and how to prevent them in future products

Essential Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or B.E. in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Four or more years of expertise in quality assurance and team mentorship.

Key Skills/ Knowledge: 

• Solid knowledge of SQL, Procedural, Shell and Python scripting
• Good exposure to data ingestion, ETL/ELT process, data validation and testing
• Ability to work under tight time constraints with dynamic requirements
• Experience in automation test frameworks: Robert farmwork, Postman, selenium and others
• Be excited about automation and building tools to help do your job and assist the rest of the team
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Knowledge of Project management and Bug tracking tools like Jira
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay careful attention to detail
• Knowledge of version control tool: GitHub, GitLab
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Good team player, providing guidance to young quality assurance employees
