We’re looking for a QA Lead with 4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on mobile application testing for Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing scalable test frameworks, leading QA initiatives, driving automation adoption across projects, and overseeing script writing and execution for mobile apps. Prior experience in mobile test automation, script development, and team leadership is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across multiple projects — from requirement analysis to release sign-off, with emphasis on mobile app testing for Android and iOS.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent, tailored for mobile environments.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for mobile, web, and API testing (Postman, RestAssured, etc.), including script writing for Android and iOS compatibility.
• Perform manual exploratory, regression, and integration testing when needed, including hands-on testing on real and emulated Android/iOS devices.
• Define and implement test strategies aligned with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI), incorporating mobile-specific automation workflows.
• Set up and manage test environments, ensuring compatibility across browsers, OS, devices, and mobile platforms (Android and iOS versions).
• Collaborate closely with developers to debug, document, and track issues using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Xray, with a focus on mobile app defects.
• Monitor test coverage, quality metrics, and automate reporting for test results, including mobile script performance and coverage analytics.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, promote automation best practices within the team, and lead script reviews for mobile automation projects.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of QA experience, including hands-on automation with a focus on mobile application testing for Android and iOS.
• Strong command of Java, JavaScript, or Python for test automation scripting, particularly for writing and maintaining mobile test scripts.
• Experience with Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent automation tools for mobile (Android and iOS) and cross-platform testing.
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, Swagger, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL, PostgreSQL), integrated with mobile workflows.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows and DevOps testing pipelines, including mobile CI/CD integration.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD integration for mobile automation scripts.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in mobile environments.
• Prior experience leading a QA team or managing mobile automation projects is preferred.

• Experience in performance testing (JMeter, K6) for mobile applications.
• Exposure to containerized test environments (Docker) for mobile setups.
• Understanding of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm) for Android and iOS device farms.
