Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HVAC planning, execution, testing, and commissioning for the hotel project.
  • Review all HVAC design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Supervise installation of VRF/VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
  • Coordinate closely with MEP consultants, contractors, and hotel project management team.
  • Ensure HVAC works meet hotel standards for comfort, energy efficiency, and aesthetics.
  • Manage Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) and commissioning activities before opening.
  • Ensure proper integration with Building Management System (BMS).
  • Prepare SOPs, maintenance manuals, and operational readiness plans for hotel handover.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks throughout installation phases.
  • Ensure compliance with international hotel HVAC standards and safety regulations.
  • Support pre-opening trial runs and guest readiness simulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC systems.
  • Strong experience in hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality projects (mandatory preference).
  • Hands-on knowledge of VRF/VRV, chiller plants, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and controls.
  • Experience in hotel pre-opening or commissioning phase projects strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage contractors and site execution independently
