Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective wholesale sales strategies to expand market coverage and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify, approach, and onboard new wholesalers, retailers, and distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale clients to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies.
  • Set sales targets, prepare sales forecasts, and ensure monthly and quarterly goals are achieved.
  • Coordinate with production and inventory teams to ensure timely product availability for wholesale orders.
  • Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, performance insights, and strategic growth plans to management.
  • Train, guide, supervise, and motivate the wholesale sales team to maximize performance and productivity.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, pricing structures, and brand standards.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or related role in the textile, fashion, or FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale sales processes, distribution networks, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to meet sales targets, work under pressure, and operate independently.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans.
  • Good knowledge of pricing structures, margin calculations, and stock management.
  • Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficient in sales reporting and performance analysis.

 

Job Specification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in the fashion or textile industry is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, digital sales tools, and inventory management software.
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Ability to create professional sales presentations and proposals.
  • Two-wheeler license preferred.
