JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Strategic Sales Planning & Target Execution
- Report Weekly, monthly and quarterly fabric sales data to identify high-potential product lines.
- Achieve sales targets given by company (B2C vs B2B: garment factories, Re- Traders, export houses).
- Execute outreach plans—cold calls, site visits, virtual demos—to at least 30 prospects/daily with strictly following the assign route.
- The salesperson will be responsible for managing all sales and credit activities within their assigned route and client base, including collection, as part of their KPIs.
2. Product Promotion & Client Acquisition
- Present and demonstrate fabric samples, highlighting key selling points: Denim, Hosiery,
- Develop persuasive pitch decks tailored to each customer type (retail shops, wholesalers, export clients).
- Run targeted promotions (e.g., festival-season bundle offers) to drive spikes in demand.
3. Client Relationship Development
- Establish routine check-ins (Daily/weekly/ monthly calls, visits) with top 30 clients to nurture long- term loyalty.
- Manage after-sales queries—returns, quality issues, order tracking—within 48 hours.
- Maintain CRM logs (lead status, follow-ups, deal closures) for pipeline.
4. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct monthly market mapping visits to fabric markets (e.g., wholesale, Retail Stores) to track price trends.
- Compile quarterly reports summarizing:
a) Emerging fabric patterns, color trends
b) New local competitors
c) Import price comparisons
5. Marketing Campaign Support
- Coordinate the design and rollout of at least one multi-channel campaign per quarter: SMS blasts to retailers, social-media fabric styling videos, print pamphlets.
6. Presentations & Negotiations
- Draft and send at least 20 customized proposals per month with clear delivery timelines and service assurances.
7. Reporting & Performance Tracking
a) Leads added
b) Client visits
c) Deals closed
d) Revenue generated
- Weekly summary delivered to the Head of Department covering:
a) Sales vs. target
b) Pipeline health (hot, warm, cold leads)
c) Blockers needing management support.
8. Team Collaboration & Improvement
- Host weekly 30-minute sync-up sessions with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure order readiness (fabric quality checks, stock levels, shipping schedules).
- Identify and implement process improvements (e.g., sample delivery, pre-shipment inspections) to reduce delivery time by 10% YoY.
