Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient Project Owner to lead crossfunctional product and software development initiatives. This role bridges business strategy with execution, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and stakeholder teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation combined with proven project management experience to drive timely, scalable, and customer-centric solutions.    
Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of accountability for project delivery, from discovery to release.    
• Translate business goals into technical roadmaps and actionable tasks for engineering teams.    
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, operations) to define, scope, and prioritize project features.    
• Own and manage the product backlog; ensure clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.    
• Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives using Agile or hybrid methodologies.    
• Track and report on project health, timelines, budgets, and risks.    
• Communicate project updates to leadership and key stakeholders with transparency and precision.    
• Identify blockers and proactively resolve technical or organizational challenges.    
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, security, and compliance requirements.    

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.    
• 5+ years of experience in project or product ownership, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.    
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), architecture, and deployment pipelines.    
• Proven experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.    
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.    
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp.    
• Ability to work with distributed or cross-functional teams.    

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).    
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and API integrations.    
• Certification in PMP, Scrum (CSPO/PSPO), or SAFe is a plus.    
• Startup or SaaS experience is highly desirable.
