Job Responsibilities
Procurement
Procure raw materials, packaging materials (bottles, caps, labels, cartoons), chemicals, spare parts, malt, hops and other brewery essentials. and consumables required for brewery operations.
Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
Manage supplier selection, negotiation, contracts, and performance.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate with suppliers, and issue Purchase Orders.
Coordinate with local and international suppliers for Proforma Invoices, imports, LC processing, and timely deliveries.
Maintain inventory levels in coordination with warehouse and production departments.
Ensure proper documentation for imports, customs clearance, and excise requirements.
Coordinate with production for demand planning and maintain optimum inventory.
Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
Ensure all purchased materials meet quality and compliance standards.
Monitor market trends and pricing for beer-related raw materials.
Administration
Ensure smooth logistics, vehicle management, and facility coordination.
Manage office administration, utilities, maintenance, and general support services.
Maintain records of licenses, permits, renewals, and statutory compliance related to brewery operations.
Coordinate with government offices, customs, excise, and other regulatory bodies as required.
Coordinate with HR and Finance for routine operational requirements.
Maintain proper documentation, contracts, and filing systems.
Oversee asset management, documentation, and compliance records.
Job Specification
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in administration and procurement. (Earlier Exposure in Beer factory required).
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Good understanding of brewery materials and factory operations.
Knowledge of import procedures, LC documentation, and customs clearance preferred.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
