Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
* Own and define the long-term brand vision for all beer brands under Nepal Breweries
* Develop clear brand architecture, positioning, and consumer narratives
* Ensure consistent brand expression across labels, packaging, trade assets, and communication
* Lead rebranding, new brand launches, and line extensions where required
Marketing & Go-to-Market Execution
* Design and execute annual marketing calendars aligned with sales targets and seasonality
* Drive on-trade and off-trade activations (bars, restaurants, retailers, events)
* Plan and manage ATL, BTL, and digital marketing with a strong ROI focus
* Oversee influencer, event, and experiential marketing within regulatory limits
Trade & Distribution Marketing
* Work closely with sales and distributors to:
    * Strengthen visibility at point of sale
    * Improve shelf presence, cold-chain branding, and outlet dominance
* Develop trade schemes, promotional materials, and incentive-aligned campaigns
* Understand distributor economics and design marketing that actually moves volume
Consumer & Market Insights
* Lead consumer research, tastings, feedback loops, and market intelligence
* Track competitor activity (pricing, packaging, promotions, launches)
* Translate insights into actionable brand and marketing decisions
Team & Agency Leadership
* Build and manage the internal marketing team
* Manage creative, digital, PR, and activation agencies
* Own marketing budgets, timelines, and performance reporting

Job Specification

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a brewery or beer company
* Prior experience working with:
    * Beer brands (mass, premium, or craft)
    * Distributor-led markets
    * On-trade and off-trade marketing
* Strong understanding of:
    * Beer consumers and drinking occasions
    * Beer packaging, labeling, and brand cues
    * Regulatory and advertising restrictions in alcohol marketing
* Proven experience leading brand strategy, not just execution
* Experience managing marketing budgets and teams
Candidates without direct brewery / beer industry experience will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
* MBA or Master’s in Marketing / Brand Management
* Experience in South Asian or comparable excise-driven markets
* Exposure to new brand launches or turnaround brands
* Strong storytelling, creative judgment, and commercial thinking
