Key Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic analysis of malware samples to determine functionality, origin, and impact.
• Reverse engineer malicious code to identify Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and attack vectors.
• Develop and maintain Yara rules and other detection signatures.
• Document findings clearly and concisely, communicating technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest malware trends, attack techniques, and threat actor methodologies.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of malware analysis tools and processes.
• Assist in incident response activities by providing malware-specific expertise.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, C/C++).
• Strong understanding of operating system internals (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg, WinDbg).
• Experience with sandboxing environments and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of network protocols and traffic analysis.
• Understanding of common exploit techniques and obfuscation methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
