Job Summary:
The Legal Officer will provide legal guidance and support to the organization, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, and supporting business operations through timely and accurate legal advice.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
2.Provide legal advice to management on various corporate, labor, and regulatory matters.
3.Ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
4.Represent the organization in legal proceedings, liaising with external lawyers as necessary.
5.Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws that may impact the organization.
6.Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
7.Handle employment law matters, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation strategies.
8.Maintain proper documentation and filing of all legal matters.
Qualifications & Skills:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
2.Licensed to practice law (preferred if applicable in your jurisdiction).
3.2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate or HR law.
4.Strong knowledge of [insert relevant laws/regulations in your country, e.g., corporate, labor, and contract laws].
