Job Description
- Assist with the entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist in processing accounts payable invoices, including matching, coding, and obtaining approvals.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements to general ledger accounts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank records and accounting records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting and analyzing financial data.
- Assist in preparing budget schedules and variance analysis reports.
- Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Provide support during external audits by responding to auditor inquiries and providing requested information.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in internal control activities to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 2 years of experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of accounting.
