Job Description
- Supervise and mentor a team of IT technicians and specialists.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to team members.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to end-users.
- Resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for escalated support cases.
- Manage and maintain servers, network infrastructure, and other IT systems.
- Plan and implement IT infrastructure projects, such as network upgrades and server migrations.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for hardware and software purchases.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and software usage policies.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Implement measures to protect against cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on IT systems, tools, and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.
- Foster a culture of IT awareness and adherence to security protocols.
- Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Several years of experience in IT support and administration, with at least some experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficiency in network administration, system integration, and troubleshooting.
