Key Responsibilities

·                     Perform daily operational tasks, monitoring, and maintenance of server, storage, and virtualization platforms.

• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure system stability.
• Manage and administer VMware environments running on Cisco UCS and Dell servers.
• Administer and maintain HPE Alletra and Lenovo storage solutions.
• Oversee Veeam backup operations and setup, ensuring data integrity and rapid recovery capabilities.

• Contribute to the evaluation, planning, and implementation of future infrastructure technologies like Nutanix and Cohesity.

• Working with the network team on implementing new networks for customers

• Working  with onboarding and offboarding customers regarding VM/servers migrations

• Working with vendors in support call situations

Required Skills & Experience

·                     Proven experience with VMware vSphere administration.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS and Dell server hardware.
• Strong knowledge of storage technologies, specifically HPE Alletra  using iSCSI and Lenovo storage using FC
• Expertise in Veeam backup and recovery solutions.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure problems.
• Familiarity with network concepts and protocols relevant to infrastructure.
• Experience with or strong desire to learn hyper-converged infrastructure (Nutanix) and modern data protection (Cohesity).
