Job Description
People Management
Leadership role model in the department and across site for all elements – coaching, lean TPM, safety, quality etc
Ensuring HSE, food safety, hygiene and legal standards are complied with
Ensuring Group and Country HR Processes are complied with
Compliance with site union/workers council agreements
Responsible for the development of People (Managers and Technicians) in line with company guidelines - competencies and skills are aligned with business needs and company vision. Ensure that robust people development plans are in place and progressing
Ensure people planning is aligned with demand plan and seasonality
Ensure people performance management processes are followed individual performance appraisals are managed appropriately according to group standards
Process Management
Ensuring the department PMS and standard meeting and reporting systems and processes are adhered to
Ensure B&P standards are developed and complied with through active process confirmation
Ensuring Lean TPM problem solving methodologies are used to resolve day to day performance gaps and chronic issues
Contributing to the development of site strategy as part of the site senior management team
Provide detailed input into site Long Term Development Plan (LDP)
Performance Management
Setting, managing the department financial budget (OPEX and CAPEX)
Setting, managing the department KPI
Ensuring the sharing of best practices within the site and with group counterparts.
Driving Carlsberg excellence development in the area of responsibility
Functional Specific Management
Ensure key KPIs are implicitly understood and managed efficiency at an appropriate level (Eg: RFT, Loss, Utilities consumptions, Taste Score, other Quality KPIs)
Ensures compliance to Group COM B&P standards
Supporting group Brewing and processing initiatives; eg VIPEX, NPD initiatives and Capital Projects
Owner of Autonomous Maintenance Pillar to drive improvement in performance
Sign off of Brewing and Filtration Plans
Sign off of Maintenance Plans within department
Job Specification
Education and Experience:
University degree in Food Engineering.
Brewmaster education (SSB, VLB or similar)
Managerial experience within drinks production environment
5 years’ experience within a B&P environment with 3 years at management level.
Proven experience in managing budgets, developing people and plant and delivering performance improvements
