Job Description
  • Supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading all passive and active networks and infrastructures.
  • Immediate response to emergency calls and perform initial troubleshoot to pinpoint the problem.
  • Monitor the Fiber Trunk link connection for ISP headend and escalate the issue designated Vendors.
  • Monitor the Optical network issues deployed in the different location and forward the issue to respective vendor and technicians.
  • Provide cost effective corrective solutions whenever possible.
  • Provide timely response and resolution to all incidents, outages and performance alerts.
  • Collaborate with vendors & other technical teams on a regular basis.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of incidents, meeting SLA requirements
  • Generate excel pivot tables to compile key company data and reports.
  • Preparation and compilation of team and vendors weekly and monthly reports
Job Specification
  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering. Masters preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in a fiber optics maintenance.
  • In depth knowledge and experience in fiber optics sensing systems required
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to lead projects and project deliverables
  • Flexible to perform 24x7 rotating shift duty.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours & after hours work as & when required
  • Familiarity with both component-level and system level optical specification and design
  • Familiarity with optical alignment methodologies and equipment
  • Two-wheeler and license compulsory
