Job Description

The Data Operations Coordinator will serve as the key link between internal teams and Japan side stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of data entry projects across multiple categories. This role requires strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills to manage multiple teams, monitor performance, and deliver accurate, high-quality results within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as the primary point of contact with client side(Japan side) stakeholders for instructions, reporting, and project updates.
    • Maintain continuous communication with client-side Project Manager to ensure alignment on project progress and expectations.
  • Team Coordination & Project Management:
    • Manage and coordinate multiple data entry teams (each consisting of ~7 members led by a Lead Engineer).
    • Oversee multiple projects/categories simultaneously and ensure timely completion within deadlines.
    • Ensure accountability of all tasks assigned to team members.
  • Operations & Reporting:
    • Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and ensure smooth operations across teams.
    • Report regularly to company management on operations status, challenges, and resource requirements.
    • Support HR management in tracking attendance, performance, and professional conduct of team members.

 

 

  • Performance Management:
    • Collect, analyze, and compare performance data of team members against expected and actual output.
    • Conduct regular evaluations based on both objective (output, accuracy) and subjective (attitude, teamwork, discipline) criteria.
    • Motivate, mentor, and guide team members to enhance productivity and maintain high morale.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Review, check, and finalize all data before client submission to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
Job Specification

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (IT/Engineering/Computer Science preferred).
  • Master’s degree in Management (MBA or equivalent).

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar coordination/operations role.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple teams and handling client communications (international experience preferred).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Japanese language proficiency will be an added advantage).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
