The Role

We are looking for a sharp, professional communicator to represent smart lighting products to

customers in the US market. This role combines sales outreach, marketing support, and customer

service into one position. You will be the voice of our brand, so how you speak, write, and present

yourself matters as much as what you know.

Important: This is a night shift role. You will work during US Eastern Standard Time (EST)

business hours, which means working through the night in Nepal. You must be fully comfortable

with this schedule before applying.

Requirements

• English Fluency: Near-native level spoken and written English is mandatory. You will be

calling, emailing, and assisting US-based customers directly. Grammar, pronunciation, tone,

and professionalism must be excellent.

• Communication Skills: Ability to speak confidently on calls, handle objections politely,

and write clear, well-structured emails that represent a premium brand.

• Sales Mindset: Comfortable making cold calls and sending outreach emails to potential

customers. You should be able to pitch a product clearly and persuasively without sounding

pushy.

• Basic Technical Understanding: Willing to learn how our smart lighting products work so

you can assist customers with setup questions and basic troubleshooting.

• Reliability: This role requires consistent night shift attendance. We need someone who can

commit to this schedule long-term.

Responsibilities

• Make cold calls and send professional outreach emails to potential customers in the US

market to introduce and pitch our smart lighting products.

• Create and send personalized discount codes to prospective customers through our Shopify

store to drive conversions.

• Manage day-to-day operations on the Shopify store: process orders, update product listings,

generate discount codes, and track sales activity.

• Respond to incoming customer calls and emails. Assist customers with product questions,

order inquiries, and basic technical issues (setup, connectivity, troubleshooting).

• Follow up with leads and existing customers to build relationships and encourage repeat

purchases.

• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales leads, and support tickets.

• Report weekly on outreach activity, sales performance, and common customer issues.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in telesales, cold calling, or customer-facing roles serving Englishspeaking markets.

• Familiarity with Shopify (managing products, orders, and discount codes).

• Experience using CRM tools or email marketing platforms (Zoho CRM, Zoho Bigin,

HubSpot, or similar).

• Basic understanding of smart home or IoT products.

• Experience handling technical support calls.
