JOB DESCRIPTIONS
A. Business promotion activities
1. To be aware of consulting opportunities / projects funded by various agencies in the assigned sectors well in advance
2. Prepare project master list in line to the government annual budget speech , funding donor agenies project priority list
3. Acquainting oneself with tender bidding process, government procurement processes, and relevant legal compliances.
4. Detail study on the project document and other relevant information and being aware of the scope of project and consulting opportunities.
5. Have knowledge on needs/ requirement and criteria of client participation of foreign companies in concerned projects.
6. Analyzing the suitability of Cvs of expert proposed by Project management division for each project.
7. To identify, interact and tie up with the best resource personals among those that are proposed by CEMAT .This would involve detailed and extensive assessment/ workout, financial negotiation etc.
8. Identifying concept areas with experts/partner firms/ clients for conceiving projects and new business opportunities.
9. Sending mass circular of correspondence to relevant parties when specific EOI or tender notice has been published.
10. Assisting international partners in proposal preparation including following up, compiling and editing proposal documents as well as providing all relevant local information required to complete the bid/ proposal. Compile and prepare all required documents of the company during proposal preparation.
11. Coordinating with partners and experts in document compilation improving CVS, PDs etc. and assisting in preparation approach and methodologies, work plan and staffing schedules.
12. Contacting with freelance experts during proposal preparation stage and also for assigning them to individual projects during execution stage as and when required during proposal preparation.
13. Singing the contract with principal company being represented and thereon maintain effective correspondence and cooperation with contract execution department for implementation of the project.
14. Well prepared to undertake impromptu task on immediate occurance, supervisors instruction, importance , time constraint and need (incl. out of station official travel as well)
15. Maintain good relationship with principal company (including making efforts in fulfilling miscellaneous requests and demand to utmost possibility)
16. Postholder should be able to provide quick and prompt information, updates and feedback on new projects.
B. Database Management
17. Coordinate in preparing well organized database regarding all business development processes, relevant projects and their information.
Coordinate in maintaining proper database of freelance experts including contact information and latest and updated CVs.
C. Market Update/ Reports
18. Conduct timely analysis of market, competitors, product, services etc. that may be required by the management.
19. Play a proactive role in finding out new information and updates of tender openings in market that are published in national dailies or news circulated by support staff or any other relevant sources.
20. Being abide of all the worldwide recent happenings in relevant sector including latest technologies, current debates, mergers and acquisition.
21. Gaining insight knowledge about the companies, relevant parties, sectors securing the projects.
D. Compliance Requirement/ Other function
22. Ensure compliance with all terms and condition
23. Facilitate in project related workshop and seminar when needed.
24. Carrying out detail assessment of project qualification requirement against company credentials as well as other information about the company in order to find best partner for each projects
- Knowledge and experience in engineering consultancy and data management.
- Knowledge of document management system.
- Demonstrate previous exposure to contracts of infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of the tendering/public procurement process.
- Experience in interacting with executive-level staff.
- Strong time management/ prioritization skills.
- Analytical and suggestive/ consultation skills.
