Job Description
  • Continuously monitor broadcast signals across all platforms (DTH, IPTV, OTT, T2, Cable).
  • Utilize monitoring tools to assess signal strength, quality, and technical issues.
  • Pay close attention to audio and video quality, including picture clarity, sound levels, and synchronization.
  • Monitor Electronic Program Guide (EPG) accuracy.
  • Proactively identify and diagnose any signal disruptions, technical glitches, or quality issues.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical problems and escalate complex issues to senior engineers or technicians.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all monitored events, including signal disruptions, error messages, and troubleshooting steps taken.
  • Update documentation regularly to reflect any changes or updates to the broadcast systems.
  • Provide basic technical support to internal teams or end-users regarding signal reception or platform issues.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to resolve complex technical problems and implement solutions.
  • Assist with routine maintenance and testing of broadcast equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Job Specification
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, Preferred: Diploma or vocational training in broadcasting, electronics, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of video and audio signals, compression formats, and transmission protocols.
  • Ability to operate and monitor broadcast equipment according to established procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during long shifts.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely report technical issues and operational updates.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
