Job Description
- Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible deals and delivery terms.
- Maintaining an up-to-date database of suppliers and their capabilities.
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders and contracts.
- Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Resolving any supplier-related issues or disputes.
- Conducting market research and keeping up-to-date with industry trends and changes.
- Ensuring that all purchasing activities are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Managing the procurement budget and keeping accurate records of expenditures.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and ethical standards in procurement
