Job Description

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Nepali.
  • Proficient in typing in Nepali for official correspondence, reports, minutes, and documentation.
  • Strong ability to coordinate and liaise with government bodies (ministries, departments, regulators including Nepal Oil Corporation), non-governmental organizations, stakeholders, and industry partners to fulfill the Association's objectives (policy advocacy, industry growth, safety standards, LPG promotion, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of corporate law (company registration, association governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, and related legal frameworks in Nepal).
  • Proven ability to lead committees, sub-committees, or working groups and represent the organization effectively on various platforms (meetings, seminars, government consultations, media interactions, industry forums, etc.).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in coordination, liaison, government relations, association management, industry representation, or related fields (preferably in energy, petroleum/LPG sector, regulatory affairs, or trade/industry associations).
