The +2 Coordinator plays a key leadership role in managing, supervising, and coordinating academic programs for the +2 level (Grade 11 & 12) as per the National Examinations Board (NEB) guidelines. The role includes overseeing curriculum implementation, ensuring quality teaching, monitoring student performance, and facilitating effective communication between faculty, students, parents, and administrative bodies. The +2 Coordinator also supports the CEO in academic planning and promotional activities, while upholding institutional standards and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Planning & Management
- Prepare and execute the annual academic calendar in line with institutional goals and NEB regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus through regular coordination with subject teachers.
- Set performance standards for faculty and staff to maintain consistent academic quality.
- Understand NEB syllabus requirements and oversee the development and execution of study plans, work programs, and course outlines.
Quality Assurance & Monitoring
- Evaluate teaching methodologies by conducting regular classroom observations to ensure the delivery of quality education.
- Conduct periodic evaluations of faculty performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Analyze academic data and set appropriate benchmarks to assess student achievements in tests, tasks, and overall learning outcomes.
Student Oversight & Support
- Track and analyze student attendance, behavior, and academic achievement, and prepare reports accordingly.
- Monitor students' academic performance and intervene where necessary to support improvement.
- Provide counseling and academic guidance to students when needed.
Communication & Coordination
- Organize periodic meetings with faculty members and parents to facilitate effective communication and address academic concerns.
- Act as a liaison with NEB for student matters such as registration, examination processes, results, and compliance requirements.
Human Resource Involvement
- Identify and recommend qualified faculty members for recruitment based on institutional needs.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting new teachers and staff members to uphold institutional values and academic integrity.
Institutional Promotion & Development
- Collaborate with the CEO in organizing and participating in promotional activities for the institution.
- Represent the institution in external academic meetings, workshops, and seminars as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform any other academic or administrative tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
