Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring all items are properly labeled and shelved.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for products to prevent damage or spoilage (e.g., temperature, humidity, security).
• Issue items or materials based on requisition forms or orders, and ensure accurate and timely delivery to the correct department or team.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report on stock levels, damages, or lost goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area, ensuring that items are properly arranged for easy access and retrieval.
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Perform stock audits and report on stock movements and discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of goods for shipment, ensuring proper packing and labeling.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure the security of the storage area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus).
• Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse worker, or in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control systems.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail..
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in a storage or warehouse environment.

Working Conditions:

• Work timing – 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
