Job Description
- Microsoft Windows Server administration
- Ensuring all hardware/software installations and routine upgrades are implemented according to Service Level Agreements
- Ensure requests for support are regularly updated, and realistic resolution times are provided
- Act as a point of escalation and secondary support for other functions within the Corporate IT team
- Providing solutions for network and system related issues, and to provide detailed documentation along with it
- Domain, Active Directory & Group Policy management
- VMWare VCenter, host server and storage management & support
- Data & systems backup & storage management
- Third level technical support for end user & systems issues
- Configure and maintain the servers, including hardware/applications & software
- Build relationships and quickly build positive rapport with a range of stakeholders
- Providing support on the development and operation of systems and cloud computing across the organizations’ support systems
- Administer and Configure all Corporate IT, liaising with external support or SME's as appropriate
- Database Designing, Modeling using SQL Server & Toad
Job Specification
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or computer science. (Preferred Master’s degree)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as senior system administrator.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and teamwork skills as well as the ability to accomplish tasks under minimal direction and supervision.
- Extensive knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, system security, database management, and web platforms.
- Awareness of and the ability to use a wide variety of software solutions.
- Project management and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task.
