Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust infrastructure solutions using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain configuration management scripts with SaltStack, leveraging Ruby and Python for automation.
• Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana, with a strong focus on Dash for critical insights.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Administer Linux operating systems, with deep expertise in Ubuntu and its dependencies, across various distributions.
• Implement and maintain secure secrets management using Vault server.
• Manage web services with Nginx and containerized applications using Docker/Podman.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and best practices using Git for version control.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer role.
• Mandatory strong knowledge of Dash for system monitoring and analysis.
• Deep expertise in Linux environments, particularly Ubuntu and its dependencies, alongside other Linux distributions.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Podman/Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding and practical application of Git for version control.
• Configuration management expertise with SaltStack; experience with Ruby is a significant plus.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database administration and code integration.
• Monitoring and alerting setup using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Web server management with Nginx.
• Experience with secret management tools, specifically Vault server.
• Familiarity with Redis.
