Job Description

Location: Kupondole, Lalitpur
Salary: Competitive and Negotiable
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am – 5:30pm

Job Specification

What we are looking for:

  • University Master's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent in relevant stream
  • Minimum 1year of professional work experience as a Project Manager

What you will be doing:
1. Managerial Key Roles

  • Ensure that all projects comply with the EB Pearls project operations process and guidelines
  • Ensure that the clients are happy with the project and with the service we provide
  • Ensure that the people in the development team are happy and optimally engaged
  • Ensure that the development teams are well-trained in their work fronts

2. Operational Key Roles

  • Coordinate with Engineering Managers to ensure that the project development is carried out as planned
  • Monitor project health, project budget and resource utilisation for each project and create reports for them
  • Communicate with clients to report project status, discuss changes, discuss any issues, and provide solutions to them
  • Ensure that all project related information and data are up-to-date
  • Monitor and ensure the timebox in each sprint events
  • Review all the sprint reports and provide summarised report to the business
  • Prepare impediment log for each project, and mitigate any impediments in the project by working with SPM, EM, team or client
  • Ensure that the clients are engaged and happy
  • Support SPM to create resource plans and utilization reports
  • Attend daily stand up meeting with SPM to discuss the status of ongoing tasks, plan for new tasks, discuss any issues in project management, and discuss solutions for them
  • Attend weekly meeting with SPM and report project health, project finance and resource utilisation to SPM
  • Work closely with SPM for employee satisfaction
  • Support People Ops on hiring, training need analysis, performance management, training and development, and succession planning

3. People Ops Roles

  • Help People Ops team in shortlisting CVs for key positions, and participate in interviews and selection processes to hire right candidates in those positions
  • Work closely with People Ops team to identify training needs of all employees and develop training and development plan
  • Work closely with People Ops team to review and revise Performance Management system when needed
  • Support/facilitate People Ops team to conduct Performance Appraisal and Professional
  • Development of all employees
  • Orient/coach employees about performance appraisal system when required
  • Manage grievances of employees from your end, and refer the unmanageable to People Ops team
  • Work closely with POM, SPM and People Ops for employee satisfaction
  • Participate actively in developing strategies to manage employees more effectively and more efficiently
  • Facilitate People Ops team in planning and implementing succession planning of employees
  • Facilitate the communication to employees regarding People Ops activities
