- Preparing accounts and tax returns
- Monitoring spending and budgets
- Financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
- Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
- Keeping account books and systems up to date.
- Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
- Compiling and reporting to superiors on weekly or monthly basis regarding overall financial performance of the company and preparing budgets
- Looking after banking processes
- Finding costing for products according to a given set format
Job Specification
Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Must have knowledge of using Tally or other related accounting software
- Must have knowledge regarding laws of taxation and other financial laws
- Must have knowledge regarding banking processes for loans, deposits, interest, etc.
- Must have time management, interpersonal and communication skills
