Job Description
Conducting weekly meetings with the Accounts department to review receivable and payable amounts and determining allocation of payments to service providers.
Authorizing all company payments via Connect IPS on a daily basis to ensure timely processing.
Liaising with the Sales team to follow up with overseas partners and clients to expedite payments in the event of any delays.
Conducting profit analysis and approving client transactions in the Travel Management System (TMS) by thoroughly examining all payment details, itineraries, and costs.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Monitor cash flow and liquidity to optimize payment scheduling and budget management.
Communicate effectively with external stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues and queries.
Liaise with the Sales team to follow up with overseas partners and clients to expedite payments.
Job Specification
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
At least 4 to 5 years of proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the travel industry.
Must have knowledge and experience in taxation, accounting systems and reporting
Candidate from Chartered Accountant background will be given priority
Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ConnectIPS and Travel Management Systems.
Proficiency in Tally software or other similar accounting software.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis, reporting, and transaction processing.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the travel industry.
Working Details:
Location: Lazimpat, Kathmandu
Work Days: Sunday to Friday
Working Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM (8 hrs)
